Reviews from parents and students at PGMS include:

“My son attends Piney Grove and our entire family loves it! Terri North is a fantastic principal and when I hear other parents criticize her it tells me a lot more about them that it does about her. My elementary school experience was that certain parents could get teacher’s or administrator’s ears and have their children be treated better than the rest based on personal relationships. Those are the people who don’t like middle school because everything is laid out clearly in black and white and certain parents can’t unfairly get their way anymore. The communication from the school is fantastic and if you are a rule follower, you will have no problems. The teachers are great, the curriculum is challenging and the atmosphere is pleasant. I feel lucky to have my child in a Forsyth County school and know it will pay off when it is time for those college applications.”

“Piney Grove Middle School has transformed my daughter from average to excellent. The school provide holistic care, however, academic achievement is unremarkable. I am very satisfied with Piney Grove middle School and would recommend as the first option for children. The Principal has strong leadership skills and teachers are excellent.”

“My son is in 6th grade at Piney and we could not be more thrilled. The Principal is no pushover and I love her for it. The teachers have been very caring and helpful. There are so many activities and clubs offered. Curriculm is very rigious and advanced class are offered to all children who want to challenge themselves, not just those deemed “gifted” by a test.”
