Lambert High School In Forsyth County

Established in 2009, Lambert High School is right outside of Suwanee city limits, inside of Forsyth County, GA. It was originally built to fix the overflow problem of neighboring South Forsyth High School, and Lambert’s current student population hits 2,800. Both South Forsyth Middle School and Riverwatch Middle School feed into Lambert. LHS currently holds a 9/10 on GreatSchools.com and a 90.2 on the College and Career Ready Performance Index (CCRPI), which tests for comprehensive school improvement, accountability, and communication platform for all educational stakeholders that will promote college and career readiness for all Georgia public school students.

Extracurricular’s–both athletic and artistic–are very popular at Lambert. Athletic programs include boys football, girls competitive cheerleading, football cheerleading, cross country, girls volleyball, softball, boys and girls basketball, basketball cheerleading, swimming, wrestling, baseball, boys and girls golf, gymnastics, boys and girls lacrosse, boys and girls soccer, boys and girls tennis, and track & field. Fine arts programs include band, chorus, dramatic arts, visual arts, string orchestra, and guard. There are several clubs available at LHS also, including Academic Bowl, Debate Team, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, language clubs, Habitat for Humanity, honor societies, etc.

There are 30 Advanced Placement (AP) classes at Lambert in six different subjects. In addition, LHS was just named a 2015 AP Merit School, 2015 AP STEM School, 2015 AP STEM Achievement School, and a 2015 AP Humanities Honor School. With excellent athletic, arts, and academic programs, Lambert High School is a great choice for a teenager!
